Clinics now in Dorset, with monthly clinics continuing in Oxford!

Meet Steph...

Training and background

I am a consultant dermatologist with over 15 years’ experience in diagnosing and treating the full range of skin conditions. I completed my medical degree with Honours at the University of Sydney before undertaking Dermatology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, The Poche Melanoma Institute and The Skin and Cancer Foundation.

In 2011, I moved to the UK to continue my dermatology training and spent three formative years in Oxford, working across the Churchill Hospital and the wider Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, as well as completing a 12-month dermatopathology research fellowship. These years shaped much of my clinical practice and introduced me to the multidisciplinary, collaborative approach that remains central to my work today.

I joined the UK Specialist Register in 2016 and have since worked across both NHS and private practice.

My work in Oxford and Dorset

For many years I have been a consultant dermatologist in Oxford, caring for patients with general dermatology concerns, skin cancer, and complex genital skin conditions. I continue to run monthly NHS and private clinics in Oxford so that my long‑standing patients can remain under my care.

My family and I have recently relocated to Dorset to build a new chapter by the sea, and I am delighted to now offer clinics in Dorchester. Whether you see me in Oxford or Dorset, my focus remains the same: thoughtful, evidence‑based dermatology delivered with time, clarity and a genuine interest in your wellbeing.

Clinical expertise

My clinical expertise spans general dermatology, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, benign skin surgery and laser and other energy-driven therapies.

I have a particular subspecialist interest in genital dermatology, especially vulval skin conditions. In my NHS practice, I have been a key lead in the vulval service for many years and work closely with gynaecology oncology, sexual health and other specialties.

Joined-up care

Joined‑up care is extremely important to me — many vulval and genital conditions sit at the intersection of several specialties, and patients benefit enormously when we all work together. My practice is built around this collaborative approach.

Research and publications

I am actively involved in research and have published on a range of dermatological conditions. I continue to contribute to clinical research and remain committed to improving the evidence base for the conditions I treat.

My Approach

What matters most to me is that you feel heard, understood and supported. Skin problems affect far more than the skin itself — they can influence sleep, confidence, relationships and daily life.

My approach is to take the time to understand your unique situation and to work with you to create a treatment plan that is tailored, practical and grounded in the best available evidence.

I am committed to providing high‑quality dermatology in a calm, compassionate environment, whether you visit me in Oxford or Dorset.

A little about me!

When I’m not working in dermatology, I love the outdoors — especially swimming and tramping around the wild and rocky seaside in Dorset. It’s a little different from the beaches of Sydney (!) but no less stunning, and the storms are quite something.

I have two young daughters and am honoured to be a “Steph‑mum” to two grown‑up sons. I also love craft of all kinds, especially sewing, embroidery and crochet.
